For sometimes I am wondering on Ebay that they have clear all the seller that selling counterfeit Onitsuka Tiger, but yesterday I saw they all coming back close to Christmas Time.
I am writing this to make aware for all of us and hope you guys find good and real deal.
Please shoot me email or sharing your link therefore we all know and aware on seller that sell FAKE shoes.
As I always said WE LOVE OUR SHOES AND BRAND but not FAKE one :)
It is your assessment to spot them and avoid them spread more in the country.

I Love My Shoes , but NOT the FAKE One
I were at the bank this afternoon and waiting on the line. I met with one man wearing FAKE Onitsuka Tiger shoes ( he does not know that the shoes are FAKE).
I started the conversation with him with a question asking where he got the shoes from and he replied with kindly and confidence answer "He got them ONLINE and FROM CHINA with mark that supplier tell them that Onitsuka Tiger made in CHINA"
He paid $35 for the shoes and of course very cheap for Onitsuka Tiger shoes and he still believe that they are proper one (authentic).
I only can tell him not to buy from them again. I believe he pretty shocked when I told him that the shoes are FAKE. I open my mobile phone and shown him the Authentic version for his shoes.
Also if you are buying the shoes from CHINA manufacture you are expecting the shoes should be label as made in China, but the tag size printed as MADE in VIETNAM. Lucky he only pay $35 for the shoes some others that I found on Ebay sell them for above $80 for FAKE shoes.
The shoes that he wears was black/Yellow color shown below :
As you can see both are " ALMOST" identical, but both are different if you take a moment and look them carefully.
I can tell he loves his shoes, but I am sure not for the FAKE one.
In summary as I always draft them here, please ask your supplier a question until you are satisfy with what are you buying. $35 still money that we can spend for something legit rather than buy a FAKE version on your favorite item.
Understand it will be hard for all of us to spot fake version on Onitsuka Tiger shoes as Chinese supplier has improved their method to produce the shoes and want to make it 100% identical. The aim is for you to always BEWARE with FAKE item !!!!
Please share your concern and your experience to prevent something like this happen further....

On this posting I will review code HL202-0146 color White/Blue/Red, which I found a lot of Ebay seller has this counterfeit product on their listing.

Tips to spot FAKE shoes on this color as follow :
- All Mexico 66 style do not have any logo printed on outer sole
- The only style that has logo printed is Mexico 66 Lauta which premium style from Onitsuka Tiger. Most of them made from premium Leather and also have Leather lining. Mexico 66 Lauta, open the link on your IE or Google Chrome and translate them to get the product information
- The back heel for this color code must be made from "Suede" (only for this style)
- Curve on the toe of the shoes. If you can see the front side on the toe for fake shoe little bit pop-up high compare to authentic one appear to be flat
- Color of the stripes and ending of the stripes.
- Insole on the shoes MUST be fixed
- Ask your seller picture of the back heel of the shoes if you want to buy online from Ebay, unknown website etc.

On my previous post I have given you some link that talk and review about FAKE Onitsuka Tiger that floating around in the market.
But since then the Chinese Producer has learned and watched this remarks from Internet to improve their production to make it their product identical to the Authentic one.
Once again the attention on detail needed for you to avoid get rip off with this New and Improved FAKE Onitsuka Tiger.
Some of the points that previous writer and articles that may you have read still apply on the FAKE shoes as guidance for you.
On this review I will use one shoes Onitsuka tiger Mexico 66 Code HL202-1659 Color Birch/ Indian Ink/ Latte.
I will give you step by step how to Spot the FAKE one.
On this first picture the left hand side shoes are Authentic one the right hand side is FAKE grade AAA from China.
Left hand side shoes are produce in Indonesia while the right hand side mark as Made in Vietnam.
From this angle you will not see any different in this both shoes looks identical.
First, different that you can spot from this picture is the printed logo inside the insole. FAKE shoes has Bright Green ink used to print the logo while the authentic ones using lighter green color ink.

From this angle you can see the color different on both shoes. The authentic shoes for code HL202-1659 has lighter beige color while the FAKE one has creamer color. You also can notice the leather appearance on these 2 shoes. The Authentic shoes has high quality leather and not glossy, while the FAKE one using glossy cheap leather.
From this picture you can see the color of outer sole also different. The FAKE's one has light Grey color while the Authentic one has light cream color. The picture below will show you clear the different on both shoes
Right hand side is AUTHENTIC, left hand side is FAKE.

On the previous review from other writer, most of them mention about FAKE shoes has logo on their outer sole. But, the new and improved FAKE shoes has already no logo on their outer shoes.BEWARE!!! as I usually see this on Ebay and other online website.
When you buy your Onitsuka Tiger, the insole on all Onitsuka Tiger shoes always FIXED and not removable. Only FAKE shoes that has removable insole.
The weight on authentic shoes compare with FAKE one much lighter. A pair of authentic Onitsuka Tiger average only weight around 600grm , while FAKE shoes weight around 800grm-1kg. For this indicator will be very hard to spot without comparing direct side by side.
It is really scary for Onitsuka Tiger Fans knowing that the shoes that they loves and bought might FAKE.
On my review here I put more addition on previous review that has been done from other writer on this product.
