HOW TO SPOT FAKE ONITSUKA TIGER "NEW AND IMPROVED VERSION". BEWARE !!! (CONTINUE)

My first posting on this subject quite overwhelming and I also received a lot of questions in regards to FAKE Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66.


I learned that a lot of countries have this replica shoes floating around and sell them freely.


I would like to thank you who has sent me email and has put a comment on my posting last couple months.


On this posting I will review code HL202-0146 color White/Blue/Red, which I found a lot of Ebay seller has this counterfeit product on their listing.


I hope the review useful for us and again your sharing of knowledge greatly appreciated not only to identify the fault seller also to spot FAKE Onitsuka Tiger shoes.

Fake/Counterfeit Onitsuka tiger Grade AAA


Picture above is Counterfeit Onitsuka Tiger (Source from Google.com). Please compare the color of stripes, ending of the stripes and the curve.




 Tips to spot FAKE shoes on this color as follow :


  1. All Mexico 66 style do not have any logo printed on outer sole
  2. The only style that has logo printed is Mexico 66 Lauta which premium style from Onitsuka Tiger. Most of them made from premium Leather and also have Leather lining. Mexico 66 Lauta, open the link on your IE or Google Chrome and translate them to get the product information
  3. The back heel for this color code must be made from "Suede" (only for this style)
  4. Curve on the toe of the shoes. If you can see the front side on the toe for fake shoe little bit pop-up high compare to authentic one appear to be flat
  5. Color of the stripes and ending of the stripes.
  6. Insole on the shoes MUST be fixed
  7. Ask your seller picture of the back heel of the shoes if you want to buy online from Ebay, unknown website etc.

This morning i was skeptical about buying their shoes and so i did some research beforehand and stumbled upon this blog which i am glad i did!       Where are you located?

      Australia : hypedc,asos,glue will have authentic stockist. Try on Ebay should have some bargain but need to follow my steps to spot fake.

      Amazon also has some great deal for Onitsuka Tiger.

      USA customer more fortunate than Australia as USA has very low price on Onitsuka Tiger range.

      Try on Gumtree as well if you are in Australia. I saw some good bargain in Gumtree for new tiger. You also can see the stock before paying them.

      I can not come across discounted website for onitsuka tiger in Australia.

      I can suggest you also check Catch of The Day sometimes they also have a good bargain for Onitsuka Tiger.

    These guys took my money and sent me fake shoes that were falling apart. Looked like a bunch of rubber glued together by kids. Tried to contact them numerous times with no response. Few days later, they blocked my emails.

    My CC statement listed them as:

    I was able to pose as a potential buyer from a different email account. I got a response from a guy named Jack (if that's his real name)...
